An adaptation of the much loved Australian classic by Norman Lindsay,
with voice overs by stars such as Sam Neill, Hugo Weaving, John Cleese (as
the pudding). Not quite the classic that the book is, but well done and a fun
film for young and families, and for anyone who loves a slice.

Not the B&W 1950s TV show – this is a brilliant 1995 adaption directed by
George Whaley. Starring Leo McKern (Rumpole of the Bailey), Dame
Joan Sutherland, Noah Taylor, Barry Otto, Geoffrey Rush. A goodhearted
comedy that’s true to the original aussie classic.
